To begin a Clarity Encounter, you provide your first name and country. You may also enter a situation, answers to examination questions, real-life observations, and other reflections. If you purchase Clarity Continuation, you provide an email address for checkout and the payment receipt.

Do not enter passwords, one-time codes, card PINs, full payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, or other credentials the Engine does not need.

When you continue from the name-and-country form, your first name and country are sent to the Engine's server and stored in a Neon-hosted PostgreSQL database. The record is associated with technical visitor identifiers and the time the information was saved. We use this information to personalize your visit and understand participation in the Engine.

Your browser also stores your name and country so that you do not have to enter them each time. Clearing browser storage can remove this local copy but does not automatically delete a profile already stored on our server.

The situation, answers, and observations you submit are sent to the Engine's server and to the AI service used to generate your examination and Return Analysis. This processing is used to provide the experience you requested.

Your saved journey and encounter history are primarily kept in your browser using local storage. Clearing browser storage, using another browser, or changing devices may make this local history unavailable. Saving a visitor profile does not mean your complete reflection history is backed up to the database.

We record limited technical events to understand how visitors move through the Engine and where problems occur. These may include opening the welcome screen, choosing to enter, viewing onboarding, saving a visitor profile, selecting an area, starting an encounter, reaching a Clarity Mirror, seeing a continuation offer, beginning checkout, and completing or failing payment verification.

These events can include technical visitor and session identifiers, event times, an area selected, and limited event details. They are designed not to include your first name, country, complete situation, answers, observations, or payment credentials in the event records. Technical identifiers may allow events from the same browser or encounter to be linked.

Payments may be processed through Stripe or Paystack, according to the checkout option available to you. The Clarity Engine does not need your card PIN, mobile-money PIN, or full card credentials. We may process the payment email, transaction or checkout reference, payment status, amount, currency, and encounter/session identifiers needed to verify paid access and help resolve payment problems.

The Engine uses service providers to operate the product, including OpenAI for AI processing, Vercel for hosting, Neon for the PostgreSQL database, and Stripe or Paystack for payments where applicable.

Providers may process information in countries different from yours under their own terms, privacy notices, security practices, and legal obligations.

We process information to operate the Engine, personalize the initial experience, generate responses, maintain necessary visitor and session records, understand participation, verify paid access, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, provide support, improve reliability, meet applicable legal or accounting obligations, and protect the service and its users.

Browser-stored information remains on your device until you clear it or your browser removes it. Server-stored visitor profiles, activity logs, and payment records are retained as needed for the purposes described in this policy, subject to applicable legal obligations and deletion requests. These server-side records are not automatically erased when you clear your browser.

If you would like to request access to, correction of, or deletion of visitor profile information, contact Support. A request may require reasonable verification and will be reviewed in light of applicable legal obligations. There is currently no in-product self-service deletion control.

The Clarity Engine is a self-examination tool. It is not a medical record system, emergency service, legal service, financial adviser, or mental-health diagnosis service. Avoid entering sensitive information that is unnecessary for the reflection you want to examine.

We use technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, including server-side handling of visitor profiles and payment verification. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

You may stop using the service, clear locally stored journey data through your browser, and contact Support about privacy or payment concerns. Where applicable law gives you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, you may contact us to make a request. Providing a name and country is part of entering the current Clarity Encounter experience; you can choose not to proceed.

The public Clarity Engine is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not designed as a service for children.

We may update this policy as the product changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.

For privacy, payment, or account-support questions, use the Support page. Never send card PINs, OTPs, passwords, or full card numbers by email.
